Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Cloud's Inventory collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address (via Firebase Authentication) and business name.
• Inventory and product data: whatever you enter — product names, SKUs, barcodes, quantities, categories, and notes.
• Team member data: names, PINs, and roles you set up for employees who log in on your account. PINs are used only to authenticate team members into your own account and are not visible to anyone outside your account.
• Billing information: handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We don't store your full card number — Stripe does, under its own security standards and privacy policy.
• Usage data: basic technical logs (e.g., error logs) generated by our hosting provider to keep the Service running.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to operate the Service (storing and displaying your inventory data, authenticating you and your team, processing billing), to communicate with you about your account, and to maintain security — including the login-attempt limits that protect team-member sign-in from abuse.

3. Who We Share Information With

We don't sell your data. We share information only with the service providers that make Cloud's Inventory work:

• Google Firebase / Google Cloud — hosting, authentication, and database storage for your account and inventory data.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments, and we don't authorize them to use your data for their own purposes.

4. Data Isolation

Each business's data is stored under its own isolated account. Other Cloud's Inventory customers cannot see or access your inventory, product, or team data.

5. Data Retention and Export

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can export your inventory to CSV at any time. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for a reasonable period in case you resubscribe, after which it may be deleted.

6. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including access controls that restrict every account's data to that account alone, and rate-limiting on team-member sign-in to prevent PIN-guessing. No system is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Cloud's Inventory is a business tool and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date.
